Nkonya Ahenkro Asafoatse shot dead

The Asafoatse of Nkonya Ahenkro, Nana Kwame Agyei Meyenden III, has been shot dead on his farm.
He was said to be on his farm at Okpobisu, near Nkonya Asakyiri, when an unknown assailant visited the tragedy on him around 6.30 a.m. on Monday .
The Hohoe Divisional Police Commander, Chief Superintendent Mr Joseph Antwi Gyawu, who confirmed the death to the Daily Graphic, said the body was released to the family for burial after an autopsy at the Worawora Government Hospital.
He said the police had begun investigations to enable them to track down the assailant, adding that for now it was considered a criminal case.

Mr Gyawu called for public support to help track down the perpetrator of the heinous crime.
