Osagyefo ready for exploits
Just as Dr. Kwame Nkrumah earned the name ‘Osagyefo’ for his exploits in the political arena, George Eshun, a new entrant in the music business has also adopted the name to express his intention of also doing mighty exploits on the music front.
Talking to Showbiz recently, Breda Osagyefo who claims to be part of the “Twi Pop evolution” said though he started doing music at an early age, he had to take a break from it to study the trend but he is back to practise what he learnt during his time in the “wilderness”.
Osagyefo has been signed on to D’Cryme’s Twi Pop Records label. He said though he has the skills to rap in English, he believes that his fluent flow in Fanti puts him ahead of many artistes.
“Some of my senior colleagues in the game like Kwaw Kesse have set the pace and made Fanti raps attractive, I believe I’ m unique and have brought my talent to help the growth of the music industry,” he stated.

He bemoaned the practice where new artistes are usually overlooked for jobs because they are yet to make names for themselves.
“ We need to encourage new artistes instead of killing their talents. There are so many talents getting wasted because they don’t have the platform to showcase what they have.”
Popularly known as Wezt Coazt Oriigi, Breda Osagyefo hopes to get the needed recognition with his new singles: Be My Wife which featured D. Cryme and Wa’ben produced by Mix-Master Garzy.
Be My Wife talks about a man looking for a woman and who later finds one whose qualities fit his idea of an ideal woman fit to be his wife. The lady, however, seems not to have fallen for the man who plead with her to be his wife.
Breda Osagyefo who is also into graphic design has been the brain behind the design of most promotional material for artistes like D. Cryme and Stonebwouy.
