
King Promise thanks God
Although he has been around for some time now and released songs like So Special and No Problem Afrobeat artiste, King Promise, is hoping to break through with his latest single Thank God, featuring Fuse ODG.
On the song which was recorded by Killbeatz, King Promise, real name Gregory Promise Bortey Newman, exhibited his singing talent as he praises God for the wonderful things He has done in his life.
According to him on the song, he is always moving on because of the mercies of God. He continues by saying he is not watching anyone but doing his own thing because he knows the God he serves is great.
Fuse ODG comes in to echo what King Promise has been preaching in his song. Fuse ODG says he is always succeeding because God blesses him in whatever he does. If you are not familiar with Fuse ODG’s voice, it will be difficult to know who is singing what on the song since both artistes almost sound the same

Nice beat with a catchy chorus, the two did a wonderful work on the simple which they believe will be a hit soon. The two artistes are busily promoting Thank God on their social networks
In an interview with Showbiz, King Promise, who was formerly known as Boy Pee, said he intends to breakthrough with R and B, although dancehall seems to be the preferred genre.
“The likes of Chase, Chemphe, Qwesi aka Dud Buddy, are doing well with the R and B, and I intend to take it to the next level” he said.
Born to Christian parents, Mr. Francis Newman, a businessman and Angela Quaye, a trader, the 23 year old musician has worked with musicians like Scientific, J-Town, Adina and Pappy Kojo.
