PZ Cussons to introduce new baby care products

PZ Cussons Ghana is to roll out a new range of baby care products in the country to help meet the rising needs of its consumers.

The Head of Marketing at PZ Cussons, Mrs Esther Fobri, believes that the move will offer customers a wider product range to choose from.

Mrs Fobri announced this when she led a team from PZ Cussons to present a range of its baby care products to new mothers who delivered their babies on Mothers Day at the maternity ward of the Ridge Hospital in Accra.

The products included: Cussons Baby Powder, Baby Oil, Baby wipe, Carex Hand gel, Baby soap, Baby jelly and Baby Lotion.

She said pregnancy was a difficult and challenging period for many women and during delivery, the mother and her baby could be at risk and added that when the baby was finally born, it was important to congratulate and reward mothers for their patient endurance.

Mrs Fobri said it was against this background that PZ Cussons formed the partnership with the hospital administration to put a smile on the faces of mothers, particularly on a day such as the International Mothers Day. 

She said Cussons Baby products were meant to care and protect the skin of babies to grow and develop in good health and reiterated the company’s commitment to improve the healthcare delivery in the country.

The Medical Director at the Ridge Hospital, Dr Obeng Apori, lauded the company’s collaboration with the hospital over the years to help promote efficient and effective healthcare delivery since government alone could not address all the challenges of the health sector.

He said some of the products contained anti-bacteria agents that helped protect children from developing skin infections.
