Graphic Inter-Departmental Games today

There will be lots of fun and excitement as staff of the Graphic Communications Group Limited converge on the El-Wak Sports Stadium this morning for the annual Inter-Departmental Games.

The competition has been named "Samuel Konadu Games" in honour of  Samuel Konadu, the late driver of  the company who perished in the line of duty while delivering the day’s publications in the morning of last year’s games.

Today’s games will see various departments of the company, including Newspapers, Human Resource and Administration, G-Pak, Finance and Audit, Marketing/Public Relations and Technical Services, competing for supremacy in events such as five-a-side football, volleyball, sack racing, and 100 metres race.

The event will be preceded by a health walk along some principal streets of Accra.
