NDC Proforum honours Bagbin

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) Professional Forum has honoured the Speaker of Parliament, Alban S.K. Bagbin for what it says it was his role in strengthening Ghana’s democracy and providing steady leadership in a hung Parliament.

The NDC Professional Forum, a wing of the party said they were honouring Speaker Bagbin for his "commitment to democratic principles and his efforts to promote accountability and collaboration within Parliament."

Ambassador Sam P. Yalley, the forum’s leader, highlighted Bagbin’s achievements as a founding member and his contributions to advancing the party’s vision and strengthening national governance.

In his remarks, Bagbin acknowledged the complexities of leading a divided Parliament, emphasising the need for patriotism and consensus to address Ghana’s challenges.

He urged the NDC to remain steadfast in its mission to reposition the country for progress and reaffirmed his dedication to serving with integrity and purpose.
