Good Shepherd holds mass for P.V. Obeng
The Good Shepherd Parish, in Tema Community Two has held a mass for the Late Paul Victor Obeng as he began his journey to eternity.
Catholic Archbishop Charles Gabriel Palmer Buckle of Accra, who officiated, said the demise of P.V. had left a huge vacuum which would be difficult to fill.
Archbishop Buckle said life could not be complete and fulfilled in the number of years lived but in the quality of the years lived, adding he strongly believed that the Late P.V. served his country with his good works which would lead him to his Maker.
He said P.V. was a selfless servant of faith and prayed that young people emulated his qualities to enable them to make the nation great and worth living in.
In an interview with the Ghana News Agency (GNA), Madam Esi Dorcoo of Mega Zillion Limited, said Mr Obeng, affectionately called Opanin, was a great unifier who mentored her professionally and believed that his 67 years on earth positively influenced anyone who directly or indirectly came into contact with him.
Present at the mass were friends and sympathisers from all political parties, and a delegation from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology led by the Vice Chancellor, Professor Ellis Otoo, and heads of the security services in Tema.
