NSMQ: PRESEC outclass Adisadel, Opoku Ware to qualify for final
Presbyterian Boys' Senior High School (PRESEC) have qualified for the finals of the 2019 National Science and Maths Quiz (NSMQ) after outclassing Adisadel College and Opoku Ware School in a one-sided contest.
The five-time champions moved a step closer to annexing their sixth title after amassing 48 points in the semi-final encounter held at the University of Ghana.

The Blues garnered 14 more points than their closest challengers Adisadel College who got 34 points and finished in second place while Opoku Ware School earned 31 points to finish third.
PRESEC have endured a 10-year trophy drought in the NSMQ after they winning their last title in 2009.
They await the winners of the two other semi-finals to be held later today at the same venue. The remaining final slots will be contested by St Peter's SHS (PERSCO), Wesley Girls' High School and Tepa SHS while St Augustine's College (AUGUSCO) engage Ghana Secondary Technical School (GSTS) and Keta Senior High Technical School (KETASCO).
