Chamber of Bulk Oil Distributors not part of 2015 GOGA Awards
The Ghana Chamber of Bulk Oil Distributors (CBOD), has served notice it is not part of this year’s Ghana Oil and Gas Awards (GOGA) which comes off Friday, December 11, 2015.
The CBOD has in a press release issued in Accra and signed by its Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Mr Senyo Hosi, denied being part of the ceremony contrary to earlier publications that it was partner to the event.
“We wish to categorically state that the CBOD is not and has not been a partner to the GOGA 2015 awards being organised by Xodus Communications Limited,” the release noted.
Take Note
The CBOD admitted partnering the company last year to hold the 2014 edition of the awards, which it said “was organised in a manner that ensured the needed integrity to make an awards scheme credible.”

The Chamber insisted it was not going to be part of the 2015 event and subsequent editions until further notice.
The press release, therefore, advised the public and industry players to take note of the CBOD’s disclaimer.
The awards event recognizes outstanding achievements made within the Upstream and Downstream sectors of Ghana's Oil & Gas Industry.
