Old students asked to support alma mater
The headmaster of Okuapeman Senior High School in the Eastern Region, Mr Daniel Afari, has called on old students of the school to endeavour to make meaningful contributions to the development of their alma mater.
He said most old students of the school owed their successes in life to the strong foundation and discipline acquired from the school, stressing that, "I will therefore take this opportunity to call on all past students of this great school to always remember us since we need you to continue where our forefathers left us".
Mr Afari made the call when the Class of 1970 presented a projector and its accessories worth GHC 103,000 to the school.
The equipment, which would be installed at the A.A. Dadey Hall, would be used to project hymns during church services and other occasions such as speech and prize giving days, home coming events, entertainments and for other educational purposes.
