St Mary’s Day Care & Prep students graduate
The Saint Mary's Day Care and Preparatory School in Koforidua has held a graduation ceremony for students who completed junior high school (JHS) recently.
The day was marked with poetry recitals, drama and a parade mounted by the school’s cadet corps.
The Director of the school, Madam Miriam Ofosu Anim, congratulated the graduating class and urged them to extend the discipline acquired in the school to their activities at the senior high school level.
‘'With the training given you in this school, you are well equipped to excel in all endeavours, particularly in your academic pursuits," she added.
Madam Ofosu Anim said she was confident that all the graduates would come out with excellent grades “when the results are released.”
Mr Amoako Yirenkyi, a retired educationist, urged parents to bring up their children to imbibe values that would enable them to become responsible citizens in the future.
He commended the school for producing hardworking and disciplined students who have performed excellently at the SHS level over the years.
