Where to go at Easter

The Easter festivities are here with a number of activities lined up for a memorable celebration. Here are a few activities lined up at selected locations for Christians and merrymakers:

Kwahu Easter

Paragliding on the Kwahu Odwen Anoma mountains at Atibie. Exhibition at the Mpraeso Sports Stadium. Visits to ancestral caves at Bruku Mountains. Fetish Priests show prowess at Twenedurase.

Harvest Praise 2014

The Harvest Praise International Ministries presents Harvest Praise Easter 2014 tomorrow Friday, April 18, 2014, at the Accra International Conference Centre with International Guest Artiste 

Kurt Carr. The afternoon session starts at 1:30pm while the evening programme starts at 6pm. Performing are Daughters of Glorious Jesus, Harvest Gospel Choir, Cynthia Maccaulay, Yaw Antwi-Dadzie and Rev. Nana Folson. 

Happy Easter

The African Regent Hotel in Accra presents “Happy Easter” from Friday, April 18 to Monday, April 21. The Easter Sunday brunch is going for GH¢90 per head, Easter Monday Kangaroo 

and Family Day with LittleBigSouls going at a rate of GH¢90 for a family of two and GH¢160 for a family of four with extra tickets going for GH¢50 per head.

ICGC movies

The International Central Gospel Church will tomorrow Friday, April 18, 2014 do a filmshow on the “Passion of Christ”, “Daniel” and other Christian movies from 4pm to 10 p.m.

Festive season

Easter Festive Season at the Branche Restaurant & Terrace with breakfast from 6:30am till 11:00 a.m at a rate of GH¢55 and lunch  at  GH¢100,  a  blend  of  Ghanaian and continental dishes with live entertainment.

MTN Choralfest

The MTN Choral Fest comes off at the Accra International Conference Centre, presenting popular gospel artistes such as Ernest Opoku, OJ, Cecilia Marfo, Boadiwaa, Cece Twum, Miriam, and 

K-Bee on Sunday, April 20. Also on the bill are the Dansoman Youth Choir, Harmonious Chorals, Winneba Youth Choir among other groups.

Easter Offers

La Palm Royal Beach Hotel presents ‘Easter Offers’, with two children under nine staying in parents room for free and a 10 per cent discount on food. 

Resurrection Summit

Action Church International, Prayer Cathedral on the Spintex Road presents Resurrection Summit from yesterday Wednesday April 16 to Sunday April, 20 with Praise Festival on Good Friday at 5pm and Family Fun Day on Monday, April 21.

Four passions 

Music Ministry Chorale (MMC) presents “Four Passions” at the British Council Auditorium on Saturday, April 19. Admission is free.

Basketmouth uncensored

GhOne presents “Basketmouth Uncensored” on Saturday April 19 at the Accra International Conference Centre at 8pm. Tickets available at KOALA, X-MEN and Charter House. Standard -  Ghc60, Premium - Ghc100

Easter getaway
