Knii Lante launches True Feelings album
Multi-award winning singer/ songwriter, Knii Lante, is back from Kingston- Jamaica after successfully launching his second album True Feelings.
At the Red Bones Blue’s Café, Kingston where the launch took place, Knii Lante performed songs like House of Pain, When You Go Away and Loving You which were well received. But it got even better when Queen Ifrica joined Knii Lante on the stage for Baby Take Good Care.
Songs on the 12-track album include Baby Take Good Care which won him the Best Video award at the 2014 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) and House of Pain which secured him the Best Male Vocalist award at the 2013 VGMA.
With Kim on backing vocals, Dale on bass guitar, Robert Brownie on lead guitar, Chris on Keyboards and backing vocals, Tucko on keyboards, Knii Lante says he is grateful to all his crew members for making his album launch a success.
Knii Lante was adjudged Best Male Vocalist at the 2011 VGMA and won the Record of the Year (Yaa Asantewaa) award last year with House of Pain at the Bass Awards dedicated to Ghanaian reggae and dancehall music.
His 16- track debut album, Love & Revolution, in 2011 featured Ghanaian rappers, Sway, Trigmatic and Lebobo. It had songs like As Flowers, Need Rain, Hips In Sway, Big Tree, Bo Noo and Rocky Road.
According to an official of Deluge Entertainment, Knii Lante’s management outfit in Ghana, the True Feelings Album will be launched later this year in Accra
