McSarpong Medical Systems MD honoured at 2025 Corporate Ghana Hall of Fame Awards
The Managing Director of McSarpong Medical Systems Co. Ltd., Dr Richard Nana Sarpong, has been named Ghana’s Most Outstanding Personality in the Medical Equipment Supplies and Distribution Industry at the 9th Corporate Ghana Hall of Fame Awards.
The prestigious recognition, which took place at the La Palm Royal Beach Hotel in Accra on February 28, 2025, celebrates Dr Sarpong’s significant contributions towards distributing highly specialised medical equipment and consumables to enhance healthcare delivery in Ghana.
The honour also marks his induction into the Corporate Ghana Hall of Fame, an elite network of top CEOs and business leaders. The platform provides a unique space where executives can collaborate and share expertise to drive corporate excellence in Ghana.
Speaking to the media after receiving the award, Dr Richard Nana Sarpong expressed his deep appreciation to his dedicated team for their relentless commitment to excellence.

Profile of Dr Richard Nana Sarpong
Dr Sarpong has played an instrumental role in expanding McSarpong Medical Systems' reach and improving patient care by streamlining the supply chain from manufacturers to hospitals and pharmacies.
With close to a decade of experience in the medical sector, he has overseen the design, construction, and equipping of hundreds of hospitals, clinics, and laboratories across Ghana and beyond. His expertise has positioned McSarpong Medical Systems as a trusted partner for governments, healthcare providers, and corporate organisations.
Prior to founding McSarpong Medical Systems, Dr Sarpong was a practising medic. He holds a Master’s degree in Finance and Accounting and studied Project Management at the Cambridge Centre of Excellence. His specialisations include Industrial Organisation, Labour Economics, Public Finance, and Project Evaluation.
He currently serves as the Country Representative for Advanced Health Canada Group and sits on the Board of Directors of A&S Co. Ltd., MMS Ghana Ltd., and First Gateway Inc.
