Nii Aryee, 3 others for Top 4 draught contest

Four of the finest local draught players will lock horns in a special two-day Top 4 draught challenge at Ashaiman on Saturday and Sunday.

The event, to be hosted at the St Mary’s School at Ashaiman, will involve Michael Abu (aka Abu national), Solomon Aryee (Ardey), Theophilus Aryee Quaye (Nii Aryee) and Addai.

Dubbed Draught Masters 2025, the competition will start at 10 a.m. on each day.

It is an assemblage of some of the best players of the game in the country at the moment, each of them capable to triumphing to clinch the ₵4,000 winner’s prize.

The event also offers ₵2,000 for the first runner-up and ¢1,000 for the second runner-up.

The competition, being organized under the auspices of the Greater Accra Draught Association, will be under strict rules that permit just a minute for a move.

It is being sponsored by a philanthropist, Emmanuel Nartey.
