Former Black Stars captain, John Mensah, is reportedly preparing to begin life with his newfound love, by performing the traditional introduction (knocking) ceremony on Saturday.
The strongly-built player, nicknamed Rock of Gibraltar has been embroiled in a stormy separation from Henrietta, his wife of more than a decade with whom he share four children.
However, early this year, an Accra High Court granted Henrietta a divorce which resulted in an expensive settlement.
Many months down the line, the former Stade Rennes and Sunderland player looks ready to move on and start a new life with his new love, named Mimi.

The traditional ‘knocking’ is a precursor to a planned marriage which close associates say will come off months later.
Saturday’s ceremony will help the unattached player banish his divorce, which hit him hard in the pocket.
An initial $500,000 alimony demanded by his former wife was later beaten down to GH¢150,000 during the protracted arbitration, which ended in January, this year.
The 31-year-old Mensah was also tasked by the court to commit to a fixed monthly remittance for the upkeep of his children.
