Poku showcased his talent with a series of impressive performances throughout the four-day event. He scored 73 on the first day, 71 on the second, 73 on the third, and 69 on the final day of play. His consistent play allowed him to overcome fierce competition from top Ghanaian golfers Vincent Torgah and Maxwell Owusu-Bonsu and claim the top prize.

With a total of 286 points, Poku secured victory over Torgah through a countback, as both players had the same score. Owusu-Bonsu finished in third place with 289 points after enduring a challenging period on the course.

In the senior's division, Robert Allotey emerged triumphant after a nerve-wracking playoff against Victor Brave-Mensah. The two players tied at 236 points on the final day, but Allotey ultimately clinched the winner's prize. Brave-Mensah settled for second place, while Peter Korsah secured third position with 238 points.

The Seniors Quest Challenge Tour also took place during the event, with Afisco Ezekiel claiming victory with 226 points. Nicholas Appiah and Osei Cobinna secured second and third positions, respectively, with 229 and 239 points.

Following the tournament, Ahmed Padori, PGA's Director of Operations, extended his congratulations to the winners and all the participants for their commitment to the competition. He acknowledged the tough nature of the event but commended the golfers for showcasing their best skills.

Padori emphasized that the tournament served as a precursor to the main PGA championship scheduled to take place at the Damang Golf Course in Tarkwa later this year. He expressed enthusiasm for an even more exciting competition and reaffirmed PGA's dedication to providing golfers with a platform to excel.

Kwabena Poku, the tournament's winner, expressed gratitude to the organizers for hosting the event and pledged to continue working hard for future competitions.
