Ayew propels Le Havre to victory

Ghana midfielder Andre Ayew played a pivotal role in Le Havre's dramatic 4-3 victory over Lens in a crucial Ligue 1 clash last Saturday at the Stade Bollaert-Delelis.

Ayew delivered both a goal and an assist, helping his side stage a remarkable comeback after falling behind twice in their battle against relegation.

Lens regained the lead after the break through Florian Sotoca, but Ayew was once again at the heart of Le Havre's response. His dangerous cross led to an error from Malang Sarr, allowing Josué Casimir to pounce and equalize.

The match reached a thrilling conclusion in stoppage time when Casimir won a penalty. Ahmed Hassan stepped up and confidently slotted home the winner, sealing a sensational comeback for Le Havre.

Ayew's performance took his season tally to five league goals and two assists, underscoring his leadership and influence as Le Havre fights to escape the relegation zone.
