NDC National delegates congress underway

Hundreds have started gathering inside the main bowl of the Baba Yara Stadium for the NDC National delegates congress.

Many more have packed outside the stadium.

Outside, supporters of the various candidates are singing and dancing

Security has been tight and unaccredited persons are not allowed entry into the stadium.

Five major addresses will be delivered during the first part of the programme today.

The highlight of the addresses would be the one delivered by the leader of the party, President John Dramani Mahama.

The first would however come from the chairman, Dt Kwabena Adjei, followed by that of the General Secretary, Johnson Asiedu Nketia.

It will be followed by the majority leader! Mr Alban Bagbin, the founding father of the NDC, Flt. Lt. J.J. Rawlings and then President Mahama.
