Hohoe MP honoured by chiefs
The chiefs and people of the Akplamafu traditional area in the Hohoe District in the Volta Region have honoured the Member of Parliament (MP) for Hohoe for her immense contribution and support towards development in the community.
At a durbar of queenmothers, chiefs and people, the traditional rulers said the gesture was in recognition of her support to her constituency before and after being elected as the MP for the Hohoe Constituency.
The MP, Dr Bernice Adiku Heloo, thanked the community for the award and pledged to work hard to bring development to the area.
In another development, she has donated 500 plates, shoes, buckets and white canes to schools, the aged and the physically challenged in the constituency.

The three community radio stations in the Hohoe constituency, Heritage, Lolonyo and Sekpele FM, also received a cash donation of GH¢1,000 each for their role in educating the people and helping to develop the constituency.
She urged the members of the community to rally around the government to bring development to the area. She used the occasion to honour distinguished citizens who had contributed to the development of the constituency.
