
Police intercepts explosives in Accra

The Ghana Police Service says it has intercepted some objects believed to be explosives of varied species at Odorkor in Accra.
Three persons have also been arrested and are in Police custody in connection with the intercepted explosives, an exercise said to have come about based on Police intelligence.
“Police is investigating the matter in coordination with the relevant agencies and therefore assures the public to remain calm. Police is continuously working to ensure public safety”, a statement by the police said.
“Anybody with information related to the case under investigation is urged to promptly call 191 (on all networks) or 18555 (on Vodafone and MTN).”
