Prudential Life celebrates staff, agents

Prudential Life Insurance Ghana has held a gala and awards ceremony to celebrate its staff, agents, partners, and customers.

The event which was held in Accra formed part of the 10th anniversary of the firm.

It also rewarded the initial board members, initial management team and some former employees of Prudential Ghana who made outstanding contributions to the company’s success.

The occasion was also marked with the launch of a key sustainability initiative of the company.

Attendance

In attendance were the Prudential Africa CEO, Emmanuel Aryee Mokobi, other senior staff in Prudential Africa, the board and management of Prudential Ghana.

The evening was a testament to the company's unwavering commitment to excellence, innovation, and customer satisfaction.

Distinguished personalities from Fidelity Bank, Standard Chartered Bank, CalBank, Zenith Bank, Brokerage firms, Ghana Insurers Association and the National Insurance Commission also graced the occasion.

The night's festivities kicked off with a red-carpet experience.

Highlight

A major highlight of the evening was the awards and presentations segment, recognising outstanding staff, agents, and partners for their invaluable contributions to the company's success.

The evening also featured a thought-provoking panel discussion with the Prudential Africa CEO, Prudential Life Ghana Board Chair, Karen Akiwumi-Tanoh and the Prudential Life Ghana CEO, Jane Dornukuor Mingle.

During the discussion, Mr Mokobi said, “The success story of Ghana is what has paved way for the expansion of Prudential in Africa.”

He, therefore, urged the board, management, staff, and agents to remain focused as they work towards becoming the number one insurer in Ghana.”

He stressed that becoming number one requires that we live by our cardinal value of making the customer our compass; the people who have made the 10th anniversary possible.

It is, therefore, important to delight them further by improving efficiency in operations and curating product offerings that brings value to the customer, our people, our shareholders, and the communities we serve.

Future

“Our vision for the future is clear: to be number one and become the employer of choice for top quality staff and all agents in the country.

We also want to be the Preferred Life Insurance Brand to protect every life and every future in Ghana,” Jane Mingle, the CEO of Prudential Life Insurance Ghana indicated, as she reaffirmed the company's vision for the future.  

She also encouraged all and sundry to continue to build on the success of the company’s operations to solidify its position in Ghana.

Another significant moment was the unveiling of the company's first EV fleet, marking its sustainability goal of reducing carbon emissions for operational carbon neutrality by the next decade.

The celebration continued with an entertainment break, featuring music and dance, followed by the recognition of MDRT Winners, Emerald Club Winners, and Diamond Club Winners.

The evening culminated with the presentation of overall best awards for Banca and Agency,

The Beacon of Enthusiasm Award, and Branch of the Year.

The event was climaxed with the cutting of an anniversary cake.
