Accra East is best ECG region
The Accra East Region of the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has been adjudged as the overall best performing region in the company’s operational areas for the year 2024.
In a comprehensive evaluation of performance across ECG's 10 operational regions, Accra East secured the first position by successfully meeting all key performance indicators (KPIs) established in the regional and district performance contracts.
Plaque
During his visit to Accra East and Subtransmission station on Monday, March 10, 2025, acting Managing Director Kwame Kpekpena presented the region with a plaque of honour and a trophy for its excellent performance in operational efficiency, customer service, and sustainable growth throughout the year 2024.
The Regional General Manager, Bismark Otoo, who received the plaque and trophy on behalf of the region, thanked the MD and management for acknowledging the region’s performance and contribution to ECG's growth and pledged the region’s commitment to working hard to achieve more successes.

District Managers Emma Kwofie (Roman Ridge) and Felix Larsey (Teshie) were honoured with plaques and recognised for their leadership in achieving their districts' targets throughout the year 2024.
