Marbs International School in Tema has held its 2016 graduation ceremony on the theme: “nurturing the future generation through discipline in Education”.
The graduating class consisted 35 junior high school graduates - who are currently awaiting their Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) results.
The Proprietress of the school, Mrs Beatrice Ohemeng said education was the best legacy a parent could bequeath the children.
She said the MARBS International School strove to provide quality education for all children who attended the school so they can be successful in life.

Mrs Ohemeng urged the graduating class to continue to uphold the good name, honour and tradition of the school throughout their education, stressing that “in all you do, remember that you represent the true spirit and academic excellence of this school”.
Speaking on the theme, the Tema Metropolitan Deputy Director of Education in charge of Supervision, Mrs Christiana Taylor, advised the graduates to be disciplined always.
She asked them to be courteous, obey all school rules and regulations so that they can grow up to become responsible citizens in future.
Mrs Taylor called on parents as major clients of the education system to show greater interest in the development of their children’s education, particularly in the activities of the Parent Teacher Association (PTA).
Certificates and awards were given to graduates who excelled during the academic year, as well as hardworking teachers.
