Are we really on our own?

Imagine a world where each person lived in his own island and knew no other person but himself. Imagine a life in which one finds no shoulder to cry on, than the one that hangs right under his head. Imagine a world where we live in solitude.

Imagine all these impossibility…

Yes, there’s no denying fact that no man can find solace with himself alone. 

It is obvious we certainly cannot live alone. But the question still remains unanswered… are we really on our own?

We are like the stars. We have millions of others round us in a galaxy, but each one of us gives off our own light. 

You may want to depend on others for survival; you may want to continually rely on people. But the fact is that, most people pretend to care just so they get a better seat to watch your struggle. Not every helping hand is there to help.

Recently I shared a story of how I was swindled as a result of being overly dependent on a certain entrepreneur who eventually disappointed me. 

Everyone has had at least an experience in which they have had to suffer the consequences of leaving things to be done by other people on their behalf. 

Our ability to make our choices and take personal decisions, our responsibility to make our lives better puts an indispensable obligation that put us at the helm of affairs of our own selves.

True happiness starts with oneself. Do not depend on another person for total happiness, because our essence is worth so much more.

Be yourself. Above all, let who you are, what you are, what you believe shine through every sentence you write and every piece you finish. 

Just say to yourself what you want to be and what you want to find yourself in the next moment. 

The commonest characteristic of champions is that, they believe in themselves even when no one else does.

Nobody is superior. Nobody is inferior, nobody is equal either. People are simply unique and incomparable. 

You are you, I am me. You certainly are not alone, but you are on your own.
