Time to win awards will come —Kweku Flick
WITH songs such as Money, Awake and Ewiase occupying enviable positions on music charts, winning awards shouldn’t have been a struggle for fast-rising rapper Kweku Flick.
In fact, one would have thought he would have bagged a few by now but Kweku Flick is unfazed. He is confident his time to win awards will come, despite being overlooked in recent award nominations.
In an interview with Graphic Showbiz, Kweku Flick, who has been making headlines and gained major boost for his career following his feature on Sarkodie’s Messiah in December last year, pointed out that he remained optimistic about his future prospects with regard to winning awards.
“I believe in time, so I know it will get to a time when this same question will turn into ‘You have been winning all the major awards in and outside the country, what’s the magic?’ I do appreciate everything, and I have never felt disappointed. Very soon, y’all will understand,” he said.
