UK based Ghanaian gospel musician, Joseph Matthew has unveiled his latest single, "Love in You", a reggae tune that showcases his versatility.

As a gospel artiste, the song released on Saturday, March 1, has, however, raised eyebrows, with some questioning whether it aligns with traditional gospel music values. 

Joseph Matthew pours his heart out, singing about his unwavering devotion to Maabena, whose unconditional love has captivated him.

 He vows to go to great lengths to prove his love and commitment to her, undeterred by the challenges that may threaten their relationship.

The mid-tempo reggae tune takes listeners on the beautiful love story shared between two souls, with its soothing melody and heartfelt lyrics.

Despite this, Joseph Matthew maintains his new release is still rooted in his gospel music philosophy.

In an interview with Graphic Showbiz, Joseph Matthew reaffirmed his commitment to creating music that inspires and uplifts, dispelling any suggestion that may have suggested otherwise.

Even though he has been plying his trade in the UK, Joseph Matthew is making steady progress back home.

In 2022, Joseph was emboldened to host his maiden concert at the Perez Dome and performed at the Tema Praise Street festival in December last year.

His style is an infusion of what he says is neotonic Afrobeats, rap and contemporary Highlife.
