I’m not dead, I’m alive

Nollywood actress Bukky Ajayi has denied rumours that she had kicked the bucket.  

“I’m not dead, I am alive”, was the response of the popular crossover actress, who was rumoured dead at the wee hours of last Monday.

Rumour mongers took to their heels to spread the unconfirmed rumour that Bukky was dead. Everyone was thrown into mourning until last Thursday, when the versatile actress came out that she was hale and hearty.

In a chat with nigeriafilms.com, she explained that over 12 people have called her last Monday, asking if she were alive. The veteran actress said she didn’t take the matter seriously until she received calls from her daughter and her husband.

“I’m hale and hearty, and nothing is wrong with me”.  Mama, as the actress is fondly called, said though she had been ill for a while, she has since recovered.

She said she was shocked to know that some people were actually insinuating that she was dead at this early stage of her life.

The Ex-Village Headmaster star has retired from acting but she occasionally features in musical videos on invitation.
