+233 hosts Threadstone
Most music lovers in Ghana are familiar with contemporary music from Nigeria but a fresh aspect of Nigerian music will be on offer tonight, August 3 at the the +233 Jazz Bar and Grill in Accra.
Threadstone, the highly-rated Nigerian Afro-rock band will infect the house with its high energy stuff which they believe will win them some fans in this country.
The band started in 2007 in Jos and its debut album, Miracle For A Lost City won the Album of the Year honour at the Nigerian Gospel Music Awards 2012.
They were impressive at +233 last February with songs such as I Am Nigeria, Super Hero and Peace Over Troubled Water.
So Ajay Kafang (lead vocals/lead guitar), Umar Jawfu (lead guitar, backing vocals) Edache Ejoga (drummer) and Charles Udeh ( bass guitar, keyboards, backing vocals) are hoping to repeat the magic tonight from 8.00pm at +233.
