Fatau Keita goes to Goethe-Institut
Fast-rising young musician, Fatau Keita, will perform on Wednesday, August 2 at the Goethe-Institut in Accra as part of the institution’s monthly series dubbed “Goethe-Abansuro”.
It is a programme designed to provide a regular platform for young solo and duet performers from a variety of disciplines to showcase their creations to a friendly audience on the terrace of the Goethe-Institut in Accra.
With one album, ‘Selina’ to his credit, Keita’s music is a blend of traditional Dagomba styles with highlife. The artiste says he takes inspiration from African musical heroes like Salif Keita, Youssou N’Dour, Angelique Kidjo and Fela Kuti.
The programme is being organised and supported by Goethe-Institut Ghana.
