Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry interacts with journalists

Twelve journalists from various African countries, including Ghana, Nigeria, South Africa, Kenya, Egypt and Uganda, are currently on a four-day business visit to Dubai, United Arab (UAE).

The journalists have been invited by the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry on a visit, which is on the theme, "Africa-Dubai Business Relations: Strengthening Trade and Exploring New Opportunities".

They were drawn from newspapers, magazines and online media houses.

The journalists are expected to interact with top private business executives and government officials, as well as visit places of historical interests.

The visit will take them to the offices of the Dubai Chamber, Emirates Airline, the Dubai Port (DP) World and Jumeirah Group among others.

The expectation of the Dubai Chamber is that the journalists will see operations and progress of growth for themselves and tell the Dubai story from an informed point of view.

The chamber normally organises such trips which provide the platform for open and free discussions and exchange of ideas.

The visit will create a positive platform for future business which is expected to bring together participants from various business concerns.
