Mahatma’s hat-trick sink Tema Youth
In fact, Hearts’ 3-0 feat against Tema Youth, which relegated the Tema lads to the second division, couldn’t have been more succinct, courtesy lone ranger, Mahatma Otoo.
Tema Youth came into the match looking for a win at all cost and led an onslaught in search of the opener in the early minutes of the first half but Hearts repelled them with an attack of their own.
The Phobians took charge in the latter stages of the half but co-striker, Gilbert Fiamenyo’s lack of ball control and stamina cost the homesters an opener.

Two minutes into the second half, midfielder Robin Gnagne floated beautifully to Otoo who dummied his marker to score the first goal.
Hearts’ trio of Winful Cobbinah, Owusu Bempah and Robin Gnagne troubled the visitors defence in search of more goals.
The Phobians were rewarded with a spot-kick in the 70th minute when midfielder Romeo Agban was brought down in the box. The resultant kick saw Mahatma Otoo getting his brace.
Otoo finally got his hat-trick five minutes later when substitute Olleenu Ashittey’s pass saw the ball deflect and miss an advancing Kofi Mensah. Otoo then chanced upon the ball from the touchline and scored from an acute angle to send the whole stadium agog.
Hearts reminisced their former days as they sang their famous chorus, ‘’Auros, Auros, Auros’’.
Mahatma Otoo was powdered and carried shoulder high by the fans after the match.
