The scoreline makes it 7-0 on aggregate for the Queens, who already boast of a 3-0 away win in the first leg played at Conakry on Friday, July 14.

Box-to-box midfielder Evelyn Badu hit the back of the net twice as she opened the scoring with a solo right wing finish in the 36th minute before adding another one in the 59th minute.

Striker Princella Adubea scored the second goal in the 52nd minute while substitute Firdaus Yakubu added the fourth in the 85th minute.

An action picture from the game

The Queens were on a total rampage on the day as they began searching for goals right from the blast of the whistle but all their efforts did not materialize until Evelyn Badu confirmed their superiority with an emphatic strike just before half-time.

That proceeded a period of Ghana domination and the Guineans had to withstand tremendous pressure from the likes of Doris Boaduwaa, Vivian Adjei Konadu, Pricella Adubea and Grace Asantewaa.

Nora Häuptle’s charges controlled the game in terms of possession and chances. If it was not for the brilliant saves of goalkeeper Mawa Traore, the Queens would have recorded an even higher margin.

The victory puts Ghana on a remarkable 7-0 aggregate cushioning them to the second round of the African qualifiers. Ghana will now face Benin in the second round in October.
