Fabin won’t accept new offers
Former Inter Allies coach, Paa Kwesi Fabin, says he will not make his services available to any local club for now after parting ways with his former club.
He says he would want to remain committed to the national side for this year so no lucrative offer will bait him to another club for the next one year.
"I want to concentrate on the national side for now and I am not ready to accept any offers from any club for at least one year" the Black Starlets coach told the Graphic Sports via phone yesterday.
He said after one year, when he had put together a formidable Under-17 team, he would consider offers from clubs but his goal now was to start a recruitment exercise next month, which was likely to take him across the country for talents.
Paa Kwesi Fabin parted ways with Inter Allies early this week after he decided not to renew his one-year contract with the club on health grounds because the combination of club and national duties was weighing heavily on his health.
He explained that his duties as both Inter Allies and the Black Starlets coach has had a toll on his health so he has decided not to continue with both jobs but to opt for one; only national duties, until such a time when he feels he is ready to go back to club management.
Paa Kwesi Fabin says he is waiting for approval from his employers to kick start his recruitment drive and any player who was born after January 1, 2000 will not qualify to be part of the team.
