Kotoko donate to Special School
Asante Kotoko Football Club have donated food items and toiletries to the Garden City Special School at Asokore-Mampong.
The items comprised bags of rice, cartons of soft drinks, fruit juice, soap, cooking oil, milo and detergents.
The playing body and the technical team also used the opportunity to interact with the Children who all have one form of disability or another.
The head coach of the team, Michael Osei, said the purpose of the visit was to get closer to the kids and let them feel appreciated and instil a sense of belonging in them.

The headmistress of the school, Ms Rhodaline Agyapong, who received the items on behalf of the children, expressed gratitude to the team for the donation and the visit.
She said it was the first time a football team had visited the school and she was hopeful that “this visit would not be the last.”
"Don't just come here to donate. We have football teams which you can play with. This will lift up their spirits,” she disclosed.
She said the items would be used for the intended purpose and prayed for God’s blessings for the club and its management.
