Panathinaikos midfielder Michael Essien limped out of training last Sunday and remains a doubt for tomorrow’s league match against Levadiakos.
The former Chelsea midfielder remains a huge doubt for the midweek clash but will undergo tests today to ascertain the degree of damage.
According to a club statement, Essien could not complete the training session because of abdominal discomforts.
The “Greens” do not want to risk a new injury and for this reason are skeptical on whether to use him in the upcoming match.
