The National Democratic Congress incumbent Member of Parliament for La-Nkwantang Madina, Amadu Sorogo has been declared the winner of the parliamentary primary held Saturday by his party.
He had 1,738 votes out of 3,888 valid votes cast.
A human rights Lawyer Francis Sosu was the runner up with 1,486, followed by Abdul-Rahim Armiyaw who had 454 votes. Mr Baba Ibrahim Mohammed had 210.
