Alan Kyerematen, JOY mourn Wahab Adam

A presidential hopeful of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) for the 2016 elections, Mr Alan John Kwadwo Kyerematen, has described the death of Maulvi Dr Abdul Wahab Adam, Ameer and Missionary in charge of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Mission in Ghana, as shocking and a sad one.

He said as an Arabic Scholar who endeared himself as a ‘Humble Leader’ and ‘Man of Peace’, Maulvi Adam served his nation and religion diligently and would be dearly missed by all persons of peace.

In a statement, he joined the entire Ahmadi Community and all Ghanaians to mourn the loss of “this great man of our land.”

“My heart goes out to his family, as well as loved ones and pray that the good Allah will give him eternal rest in peace,” he stated.

In a related development, Mr Jacob Osei Yeboah, a.k.a. JOY, an independent presidential candidate in the 2012 elections, said mother Ghana had indeed lost a man of substance.

In a statement, he said the toil of our labour on earth came rest ,and our joy must be to do the master's will.

“What I will remember Maulvi Wahab Adam for is a statement he made about prayer that “prayer is humbling oneself before God”. Maulvi Adam, indeed, demonstrated  that he was a true religious leader, one who  imbibed religious knowledge in the context of the cultural disposition of our nation. Ghana will thank him for the role he played towards ensuring peace during election 2012 by calming down Macho men in the country. May Almighty Allah receive Maulvi Adam in His bosom,” he stated.
