Addai Nimoh supports widow
The Member of Parliament for the Asante-Mampong Constituency, Mr Francis Addai-Nimoh, has donated a cheque for GH¢5,000 to Madam Lydia Adu-Botchey, the wife of the late Rev. Isaac Kofi Adu-Botchey.
The late Rev. Adu-Botchey was burnt to death in addition to his four children, his younger brother and a pastor friend at their residence at Worakese, a suburb of Asante-Mampong, recently.
Pastor Adu-Botchey was an Estate Officer at the Obuasi Hospital having been transferred from Mampong Government Hospital. He also doubled as a pastor of King Jesus House of prayer. The children included, Ebenezer Kwame Adu-Botchey 13, Lovia Ntiamoah Adu-Botchey 11, Isaac Victor Adu-Botchey 7 and Lydia Adu-Botchey, two-and a-half years, respectively. The younger brother was Jonathan Adu-Botchey, 27 years, and his pastor friend, Pastor Owusu Sarfo.
The donation is from the MP’s share of the National Health Insurance Levy.
As part of his social responsibility, the MP also donated an undisclosed amount to the widow.
He advised the widow to allow the Almighty God to take full control of her life and assured her of his preparedness to assist in the rehabilitation process.
The MP thanked the people of Mampong and the constituency for their concern and urged them to assist the widow in her time of need.
The Municipal Chief Executive ( MCE) for Mampong, Mr Mohammed Kwadwo Abuasu, commended the MP for his initiative.
