Mahama appoints transition team - Headed by Amissah-Arthur

President John Dramani Mahama has appointed a 22-member Transition Team to manage the transition to a new administration.
The Vice-President, Mr Kwesi Amissah-Arthur chairs the transition team.
A statement signed by the Spokesperson to the President, Mr John Jinapor said the composition of the transition was in accordance with the Presidential (Transition) Act, 2012 (Act 845).
It said the Speaker of Parliament, Rt. Hon. Joyce Bamford-Addo also chairs the Advisory Council as provided for under the Act.
