Lighthouse Chapel International embarks on street evangelism
Members of the Lion of Judah Cathedral of the Lighthouse Chapel International in Cape Coast has hit the street to win souls for Christ.
The group embarked on a two-hour evangelistic procession to bring home the meaning of Christmas to the citizenry.
The congregation who walked from the church premises through Pedu junction-Adisadel to Kotokuraba preaching the gospel to all along the route also held placards with inscriptions such as “He is dead so that you may live”, “Heaven is real, hell is real make a sensible choice today”, ”It’s getting dark run to Jesus”, among others.
Fa W’Aseda Bra
The walk was part of activities to mark this year’s FaW’Aseda Bra 2017 Mega Gospel Festival organized by the church.
They late converged at the Zion School Park near the London Bridge for the gospel concert.
There was performances from The Hymns Choir of the church, the Cape Coast Youth Choir, Minstrels Goody Baidoo, Bob Praise, and Frank Guilford (the trumpeter).
Inspirational gospel musician Uncle Ato, set alive the place as he took worshippers through over an hour of melodious soul lifting praises.
Sermon
The Bishop of the Lion of Judah Cathedral, Bishop Jake Godwyll said Jesus came into the world that men might receive him and have eternal life.
He said Jesus Christ died for all sinners and accepting him as Lord gave sinners access to eternal to eternal life.
