‘Let’s project arts and culture’

The Spiritual Leader of the Prophets and Spiritual Churches Council, Ghana, Prophet N’akoa Nazareth Ansah Jamson, has underscored the need for the government to adopt more innovative activities to promote the country’s arts and culture home and abroad.

He said as a strong advocate of arts and culture, he would want to see the country’s rich cultures, which had similarities but with some diversities from the different ethnic groups, promoted to enhance the country’s image home and abroad.

“It is interesting to watch how some countries, especially the Asian ones, showcase their cultures to the world through international events that are telecast.

Attractions

“We have a very safe and stable country. Our rich cultures are tourists attractions.

It is my humble plea that the government will continue to project our arts and cultures and give them more exposures internationally to attract more tourists and investors to help contribute to the development of the country,” N’akoa Jamson said in a solidarity message at the 61st Annual Celebrations of the Birth of the Prophet Mohammed (Maulid) at New Fadama in Accra.

According to him, it was always an honour to be invited to join in the celebration of the Prophet Mohammed and congratulated the Muslim Community on the occasion.

He said it was a great delight to acknowledge that peace had been “kept by our brothers and sisters. Thank you all”.

Commendations

N’akoa Jamson, who is also the Leader and Founder of the Israel King of the Jews Church, commended President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II and other stakeholders for the wisdom bestowed on them to implement the road map to settle the dispute between the Abudus and the Andanis in Dagbon.

“This has been my heart desire for all these years. We thank the Most Gracious Allah for this tremendous achievement,” he said, adding that “as today marks another remarkable and memorable day of the Holy Messenger, let us use the opportunity to recap some of the essential teachings and practices he taught mankind.

It is with joy as a servant of Allah to have the privilege to speak on the impact of the Holy Messenger’s teaching on humanity.

It is a huge blessing to have a pacesetter like the Holy Messenger of Allah to show the path for us to emulate”.
