Innovation, operational efficiency, priority — New GOIL MD
The Acting Group Chief Executive Officer & Managing Director (CEO & MD) of GOIL PLC, Edward Abambire Bawa, has reaffirmed his commitment to drive innovation, enhance operational efficiency and ensure the company’s sustainable expansion.
At a durbar held to formally introduce him to staff after he engaged with the management team, Mr Bawa assured management and staff of a collaborative and inclusive leadership approach.
He emphasised his openness to new ideas and solutions that would address the company’s challenges and propel its growth.
Mr Bawa said the appointment marked a seamless transition following the end of tenure of Jacob Kwabena Adjei, who had served GOIL in various capacities for 18 years before being appointed as Managing Director in December 2024.

The acting CEO/MD expressed deep appreciation for the contributions of his predecessor in steering GOIL onto a path of growth and resilience.
