
Anita Akua Akufo is Hollantex Brand Ambassador
An African wax fabric brand, Hollantex, has named media and entertainment personality, Anita Akua Akufo, as its newest brand ambassador.
The journalist and TV3 presenter, therefore, joins an esteemed list of African stars including Josey, Viviane Chidid, Mariam Bah, Rebo Tchulo and Santrinos as ambassadors of the brand,
further solidifying Hollantex’s reputation as a premier advocate for African fashion, culture and heritage.
Anita Akua Akufo, recently recognised among the 100 Most Influential Young Africans by the Pan African Youth Foundation (2023-2024), expressed excitement about the collaboration.
Renowned for her influence in the media and fashion industries, she said the partnership was an opportunity to promote African heritage through fashion.

“As a fashion and culture enthusiast, I see this as an opportunity to promote a brand that resonates with my values. I have a deep love for African fashion and culture which aligns perfectly with Hollantex’s mission to celebrate and promote African heritage through its wax fabrics,” Ms Akufo said.
She further emphasised the significance of the partnership, adding “Hollantex is more than just a brand; it’s a celebration of who we are as Africans.

The Marketing Director of Hollantex, Danny Chin said that Hollantex had been a symbol of African heritage which offers premium wax fabrics that merge traditional patterns with contemporary designs.
The addition of Anita Akua Akufo to its ambassadorial team, therefore, underscores the company’s commitment to inspire Africans to embrace their cultural identity through fashion.
