eTranzact Ghana to drive digital payments future with advanced solutions
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of eTranzact Ghana, a financial technology company, Dr John Obeng Apea, has pledged that the company will continue to develop cutting-edge solutions to reshape the future of digital payments, both within Ghana and internationally.
He said as pioneers and leaders in Ghana’s fintech sector, eTranzact had cultivated the necessary human and technological resources to introduce innovative fintech solutions aimed at transforming the financial landscape.
"We have led the charge in Ghana’s fintech space for two decades, continuously evolving to meet the needs of both businesses and consumers," Dr Obeng Apea stated.
Fintech awards
Dr Obeng Apea said this when the company was awarded the ‘Fintech Company of the Year’ at the 4th Ghana Fintech Awards in Accra over the weekend.

The company also received the leading payment technologies service provider of the year award for the second consecutive time.
The Ghana Fintech Awards, organised by the Ghana FinTech and Payments Association, in collaboration with Arkel Limited, celebrated excellence in Ghana’s rapidly growing fintech industry.
This year’s awards was held on the theme: "Building Trust in Ghana’s Digital Economy: The Essential Role of Cybersecurity and Data Privacy," which emphasised the critical role of trust, security and privacy in propelling the nation’s digital transformation.
Appreciation, future plans
Dr Obeng Apea expressed his heartfelt appreciation to customers, staff and management for their collaborative efforts in fostering innovation and enhancing service delivery.
“Celebrating 20 years this year, this award serves as both an achievement and a challenge — pushing us to build even more robust, cutting-edge technology that will redefine the future of digital payments in Ghana and beyond,” he stated.
In addition, he said, “We remain dedicated to shaping a secure and seamless digital financial ecosystem that empowers individuals and businesses alike.”
Dr Obeng Apea explained that over the years, the company had introduced groundbreaking financial products that enhanced efficiency, security and accessibility in digital transactions.
