
Dan Borsor Foundation donates to Pentecost church
Dan Borsor Foundation, a non-governmental organisation (NGO), has presented 150 pieces of stainless steel chairs worth GH¢30,000 to the Takinta Pentecost Church in the Western Region.
It also donated GH¢30,000 for the ceiling of the church.
The Executive Officer of the NGO, Mr Daniel Borsor, said the items were part of the organisation’s Christmas gift to the church.
The NGO has for the past five years embarked on a number of philanthropic projects in the Jomoro District, including sponsoring inter-schools quiz at the basic level, presenting quantities of bed sheets and mattresses to the Half Assini Government Hospital and contributing GH¢10,000 towards the construction of the mission house of the Pentecost Church at Takinta.

The District Manager of the church, Reverend Isaac Koda Plunge, thanked the foundation for its kindness and urged other organisations and indivituals in the area to emulate the NGO’s kind gesture.
The foundation also organised a Christmas ‘Lucky Dip’ on December 28, 2014 in which 20 people won various prizes such as mobile phones, half pieces of wax prints, blenders and gas cookers.
