Catholic society supports two hospitals
The Marshallan Relief and Development Services (MAREDES) has presented GH¢150,000 worth of medical equipment to two Catholic hospitals to help improve upon healthcare at the hospitals.
The beneficiary institutions, the Battor and the St Gregory Catholic hospitals, received equipment such as colposcopes, diathermy machine, spirometer, and gynaecology surgery instruments among other items.
MAREDES is the development wing of the Knights and Ladies of Marshall, a Catholic friendly society.
The presentation was made through the National Catholic Secretariat (NCS) to be distributed to the selected hospitals.
