Assembly members visit plant

Thirty-two  assembly members of the Ashaiman Municipal  Assembly have paid a familiarisation visit  to PREFOS limited, a  Ghanaian street light assembling  plant   at Adarko-Jachie near Kumasi in the Ashanti region.

The visit was led by the  Municipal  Chief Executive of Ashaiman,  Mr  Ibrahim Baidoo and Mr J. A. Asihene, the  Co-ordinating Director of the Assembly ,to acquaint themselves with  the  quality of the products.

Conducting the Assembly members round the production section of the company, Mr Frank Agyeman, Financial Director of the Company, said the company was established  to ensure   a reliable supply of quality street lights.

He said the company had also established a training school at the plant to offer in-service training for electricians from the various assemblies,  to provide  effective after  services maintenance.
