Professor Honyenuga emphasised the importance of timeliness and discipline, stating that without these values, industry could not engage them.
He reminded the students that the university is not only a place for academic pursuits but also a foundation for personal growth and development.
As part of the matriculation ceremony, the university introduced a new programme, BA Communication and Applied Media Technology, expanding its academic offerings.
The Registrar, Dr Christopher Amehoe, who administered the matriculation oath, urged the fresh students to adhere strictly to the rules and regulations of HTU without compromise.
Due to the large number of students, the matriculation ceremony was held in three sessions to accommodate all attendees.
