Holy Trinity Lutheran School holds graduation

The Holy Trinity Lutheran School in Kumasi has organised a graduation ceremony for pupils and students of the school.

The ceremony, which was on the theme: “Stepping progressively into the era of a smart world in a smart school,” saw Kindergarten Two, Class Six and Junior High School students who wrote this year’s Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) graduating.

The atmosphere was electrifying as the students sang the school’s anthem, performed cultural displays, recited poems and showcased the school’s cadet corps to proud parents and guests.

The Business Manager of the school, Mr Kwaku Frimpong Darkwah, announced plans to construct a new classroom and office blocks to enable pupils to have better facilities during the next academic year.

Mr Darkwah said all over the world, “smart and progressive schools which have the aim of preparing students to meet the dynamics and challenges of the world are leaving no stone unturned in ensuring that their learning systems and school management procedures are done to enable the schools to prepare the students for the information age in a new smart world.”

Deserving pupils and members of staff were rewarded with citations.

Master Michael Baafi was adjudged the Best Pupil In Academic Work in the JHS Department, while Miss Emmanuella Donkor won the Best Behaved Student in the JHS category.
